Babelgum is running a new series by Dave Foley (formerly of “News Radio“) entitled “The Sensible Traveler.” He plays a travel guru named Bobby Fargo who gives tips to newbie travelers (sadly, not time travel tips). In this episode, he explains the wonders of backpacking (even though, he believes it is “inherently horrifying and dangerous). Somehow, Fargo survives the horrors of nature and ends up loving life at a scuzzy youth hostel.
