Impressionists are French painters. What does that make Frank Caliendo? Well, how about we just call him a guy who knows how to make his voice sound like lots of other guys. He’s on our list of the 10 Funniest Impressionists Ever. Caliendo was on ESPN Radio’s “Mike and Mike” recently, but the power of the Internets allow us to see it all, too. Caliendo was on because football season is about to start for realz, and he’s known for his John Madden impersonation. He’s also known for jumping from voice to voice, and we lost track of just how many different voices he did in this clip. (Although we can remember him doing Robin Williams, Al Pacino, Charles Barkley, Jim Rome, George W. Bush and several others.) Just watch it, already!
We should also note that Caliendo has made news this month by signing a 10 year deal with the Monte Carlo Resort And Casino on the Las Vegas strip. He will be appearing four nights a week there starting in October. OK. Roll the clip!
This post was written by Sean L. McCarthy, who has met Frank Caliendo and knows what he really sounds like.
