We love when a comedian from our time and a comedian from the land that time forgot attempt to bridge the generation gap, which is why our hearts go out to Ben Stiller for trying to explain Twitter to Mickey Rooney. (For you kids, Mickey Rooney was a child star way way back in the day and had a lock on the catchphrase “king of the world” before that “Titanic” movie came along, which was about a big boat that sank when Rooney was a kid! Everything comes full circle!) Anyhow. Watch as Rooney asks the obvious question: Why? Then watch as Stiller reads from the “tweets” of those he follows, then gets a pained look on his face, as if to say: Why? Yes, why, why, why?
