‘Saturday Night Live’ Star Fred Armisen Gets An ‘Intervention’ Intervention

Tuesday August 11, 2009 9:00 AM

“Saturday Night Live” wrapped for the summer, and Fred Armisen found himself at a loss. Obviously, Armisen had to fill up his free time somehow. He got sucked into the heartbreaking real-life televised drama which is “Intervention.” So much so, it seemed, that Armisen needed an intervention from “Intervention.”

His real-life fiancee, “Mad Men’s” Elisabeth Moss, and family members cornered him. But he was one step ahead of them. He knew all the moves because of his hours upon hours (and days upon days) of “Intervention” watching! Video courtesy of “Funny or Die” (written and directed by Amy Heckerling of “Fast Times at Ridgemont High” and “Clueless”).
