When Weird Al Yankovic Tweeted overnight about one of his favorite ten tattoos that fans had gotten of “Weird Al,” we immediately thought, there’s more than one of these fans in the world? Earlier this year, someone showed us they were willing to walk around with Andrew “Dice” Clay on their bodies in the best, tattoo, ever? What if they used the 17 Amazing Yearbook Photos of Comedians as their guide?
Then we realized, there’s probably someone out there willing to put anybody’s face in permanent ink on their bodies, to literally make certain that the joke will always be on them. Do you see what we did there? Now see what we do here, when we present 22 more stand-up comedians and comedic actors that fans have gotten inked on them. Might as well start with this “Weird Al” pick that has the endorsement of the music parody king…
22. Weird Al Yankovic
21. Chippy from Tim & Eric. Great job?!
20. David Spade, as Joe Dirt. It’s almost like getting Larry the Cable Guy inked on yourself, so why not just do that?
19. Larry the Cable Guy. This guy got ‘ir done, alrighty.
18. Will Ferrell, as Ron Burgandy. Film at 11. Ink at foreversville. Stay classy!
17. Will Ferrell, as Elf. If only this tattoo could find its way back to the North Pole.
16. Pee Wee Herman (Paul Ruebens). I know I’m a tattoo, but what am I? Haha!
15. Bill Murray, from Stripes. What kind of training? Tattoo training, sir!
14. George Carlin, from the 1970s. At the height of his comedic powers, forever remembered by this one person. We’d say we hope this doesn’t keep the fan from making it into Heaven, but Carlin knows it’s all quite silly to argue.
13. Jack Black. Somehow, he seems less animated when he’s animated, if you know what we mean.
12. David Cross, as Tobias Funke. This tattoo somehow is in a state of arrested development. If only it were in blue!
11. Jon Stewart. Did you know there’s a new study that says young people are getting their news from this tat?
10. Stephen Colbert. Always managing to one-up Stewart, and he does so again on this list.
9. Conan O’Brien. This could use more hair, don’t you think?
8. Sacha Baron Cohen, as Borat. No one is making sexy time with this fan. No one.
7. Katt Williams, with his fan. Always nice when, as a fan, you can meet your comedy idol and show him just how crazy you are. Katt doesn’t seem to mind. Then again, he’s probably pimping her out later.
6. Bill Cosby, as a Pudding Pop. That’s so surreal of a choice, really.
5. Tommy Chong. Look closely and you’ll see why this is near the top of our list. What could top that?
4-1. A back quartet featuring Sam Kinison, Rodney Dangerfield, W.C. Fields and Benny Hill. OK. So Dangerfield helped make Kinison’s career. We get why you’d pair them. But what do they have in common with Fields and Hill, exactly? It’s a mystery, wrapped up in a riddle, inked into a full back tattoo. Regardless, dude, you win for having the gall to put four comics on your back. Just please don’t turn around. Ever. Thank you.
