We used to watch The Toy almost every day after school when we were younger and became an instant fan of The Wonder Wheel and Richard Pryor. Pryor also starred in another one of our favorites, Brewster’s Millions, but he’s obviously known more for his legendary stand up comedy.
So thanks to our friends at The Comics Comic, here is video of Richard Pryor performing stand up on The Kraft Music Hall, an early radio variety program on NBC that made the jump to television in 1958. Here, Pryor is 24 during one of his first television appearances and you can see why it was the beginning to an amazing career.
