Lisa Lampanelli’s HBO Special Long Live the Queen premieres Saturday, January 31st and we caught a sneak peek last night at CAA, the only place where you can feel like a schmuck for owning one suit. And although we couldn’t score a clip, we always loved her on the Comedy Central Roasts, especially the Roast of Flava Flav:
We first saw Lisa Lampanelli for the first time when she performed in front of an all black audience at the Hollywood Improv.
It’s one of those moments we’ll always remember because it reminds you why live comedy is so special. And it reminds us why we work in comedy because for us, it’s just as much about watching the audience as it is about watching the comic.
