The Hollywood Improv used to be our home away from home and we spent many of vodka fueled nights there, but it’s been amazing of late to unwind at home after work by making love to our television. Yet after last night, we remembered why we missed it so much and why live comedy is so special. In turn, we’ll be buying you drinks for Your Weekday Buzz and sharing our experiences so you don’t miss out on the next one. So forget the two buckets of beer we shared last night and the fact that she was a recent finalist in Howard Stern’s hottest/funniest chick contest, because Whitney Cummings is just flat out funny.
She killed at the Hollywood Improv last night along with some other comics you shouldn’t miss if they’re performing live near you so check ‘em out right after the jump.
Elon Gold crushed as well last night and seems to be at the top of his game. He’s currently working out material for his 5th Tonight Show appearance but chances are you probably haven’t heard of him.
And even you’ve heard of Theo Von, my guess is that it’s because of his stint on the Real World and not because he’s actually coming into his own as a standup. He’s also just been cast in the new TBS pilot Frat House.
