The Laugh Track is written by the staff of Comedy.com and edited by Matt Komen, a compact little fella who has been scouting the live comedy scene for over 10 years. And he’s enjoyed most if it, especially eating and drinking for free 4 nights a week as Talent Booker for the Hollywood Improv where he produced over 1,000 shows. He also produced the Vegas and Aspen comedy festivals for HBO where he was shocked that you could actually have meetings about conference calls about meetings. And he also spent time as a talent manager and produced content for AOL, Wendy’s and now Comedy.com, where he’s been employee #1 since Feb ‘07.
It all started with a short little Jewish kid watching Def Comedy Jam and came full circle watching the Queen of Mean, Lisa Lampanelli, for the first time performing in front of an all black audience at the Hollywood Improv.
